A little video for entertainment.

You will have to put up with the adverts I'm afraid.

That's the normal way of doing it, isn't it?

I never done Crib Goch.  It looks very narrow in places and certainly not my cuppa!

Blimey!  :o

I'm don't think I'm that sure-footed even when I'm just walking along.

I would like to do Crib Goch one day but I might take it a bit slower, I think...

The problem is I suppose with Crib Goch that for the inexperienced person, the safest time to do it is in decent weather & that is when it is the most busy.
I think I am more a Rhyd Ddu Path man myself!

I have suffered from Vertigo for quite a while now. It all started after a quite serious inner ear infection. When I start to feel any of the effects of vertigo I simply have to stand face onto rock. It settles everything very quickly.

Itís never stopped me scrambling or ridge walking. Iíve happily done Crib Goch, Striding Edge and the Aonach Eagach ridges.

The only downside is I canít climb anymore. I would always have to be second climber as I canít lead and belay someone from above. I need to be able to face the rock for some reason.

Its the amazing Collin Donnelly video, of him setting the Welsh 3000 record, back in June 1985.
He runs right across Crib Goch, almost as if its a flat and level surface, and then full gallop down its North Ridge.

From the trig point on Snowdons Summit, to the roadside in the Llanberis pass, in only 51min, taking in Crib Y Dysgyl and Crib Goch along the way.
One of the most impressive bits of fell running on the web.
