Mel, when you crossed the road at Clay Bank there are a few parking spaces at the side of the road. However, if you go about 100 yards down the hill, there is an actual car park (free) that some days has a snack/tea van  O0

Might be car shopping this weekend so could venture there before the lovely heather disappears.

Ridge, the worse thing is, both times I've tripped over and hurt my foot I've been stone-cold sober  :o

That could be simply sorted :D

Gorgeous photos - I love the musky honey scent of heather - and they will be oreo cattle from now on.

Hope the foot is mending well :)
