VR - wild camp no 26 on Sourfoot Fell
« on: 11:04:08, 05/09/17 »
hi guys beefy here  8)
heres the latest video
glorious weather and fine views but too windy for flying willo the giant wasp,
but after last week in scotland, at least it kept the midgies away  ;D
the sunset was rather disappointing but what a great time we had, tremendous  :)
the view from lowe fell is one of the finest in the lakes IMO
the next day we were deceived by a stile into  a typical karl route  :(
happy days  :D

Great vid this one, we had a good weather day for it, great timelapses, you did fly willo for a short time though. Love the music, great stills as well.  O0

I think there is a farmer or landowner somewhere that has binoculars and he watches a lot of people taking the stile into that field and is laughing his head off because there is no escape from the field  >:(

Enjoyed that, even though I had to watch it with the sound off (at work)! Got a long weekend booked in the Western fells in a couple of weeks - that's whetted the appetite nicely.  Thanks for sharing.

Another entertaining video with fabulous scenery, well done Beefy  O0  Loved the cloud sequences.

Do you need relative calm to fly the drone or will it cope with some wind?

Regards Keith

thanks WR ...  O0
it will cope with some wind, but when you consider what they cost i dont want to risk losing it  8)  so try to fly it when theres not much wind, not very often an a mountain  :)

Thanks Beefy, your videos are great without the drone footage but the views you get from the drone bring out the magnificence of the scenery.
