Walking in Wicklow
« on: 21:02:03, 11/09/17 »
I'm heading to Wicklow with a few pals in a fortnight, and we're looking for some experience of what to climb.

It's not often we're away from the family and on our tod's for a proper hike, so we're after a good leg stretch and a climb

Lugnaqilla seems an obvious choice......or is it ? On a recent comfort break I browsed a video on youtube of a walk up Lug' and it seemed relentlessly boggy and a bit crap. WHile this could well have been the video chap's poor skills, I'd rather hear an experienced voice before trudging up the [censored].
