Good idea or do as Robert Louis Stevenson did. Get a donkey!

Bit big to get into the car though and they make a mess of the carpets in the house. My friend had a Pyrennean Mountain Dog which is about as probably about as big as you would want to go. When he wild camped the dog slept outside the tent and doubled as a windbreak.

A better idea would be a device for putting crampons on without sitting down  ;)
Walking is the world’s oldest exercise and today’s modern medicine.

Hi all,

Many thanks for your replies. I have however changed my idea, but your feedback has been useful. If any one has any experience in bag theft, be it whilst walking, camping or travelling, i would be grateful if you could share your experience, and any way that you think that it could have been stopped.
Thanks in advance!
Neil :)
