Needle Point Walk
« on: 22:55:34, 26/03/18 »
Thinking of doing this sometime this year although I've heard the signs to show people where it goes have been removed.  I'm wondering where it goes if anyone here has done it.  The walk starts at Newtondale Halt Railway Station where you have to get to using North Yorkshire Moors Railway.  It's also displayed on The forestry Commission website.

Just looked on the Forestry Commission's site at it.  Not much info to go on really.  No route map or gpx file to download  :(  Having said that, looking at my map, it looks a straightforward enough walk, even without signposts, if you can read a map you should have no problems.

Might have a mosey on down there myself when the heather's in bloom later in the year  :)
