I can just see someone from this forum in a suit jacket, tight denim shorts and stiletto's walking down a path going " don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me"  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Sorry Vinny
Your thread has been hijacked by the perverse amongst us  ;D  We couldnt help ourselves  >:D
but to get back on track

My current pair of gaiters are trekmates cairngorm and they dont seem to slip down and i dont have them too tight around the top you get that annoying line around your legs which is sore when you finish your walk. I have had cheaper non gortex versions in the past which have slid down eaily. The Gortex fabric is more course and may help it to grip to the trouser material i dont know but previous types were shiny and smooth material  :-\
I have been looking at some yeti gaiters though as an upgrade, they look the business and i do have a habit of falling in bogs  :)

You may have missed it, although I can't think why! :D   They are the best gaiters I've EVER used!

Easy to put on/take off, even with cold fingers (no fiddly zips)
Snug fit from top to bottom and come a fair way over the top of the boot, which keeps everything out.
No baggy bits round the ankle part, like those with ruckles that get full of mud and are a pain to clean out.
The under-boot straps are easily adjustable, using strong Velcro bits on the inside of the gaiter, so there's nothing flapping about on the outside to get caught up on anything.

And no, I don't work for RAB!

Tracey  :)

I have very similar gaiters to Tracey and I agree, they really are good. Anyway, back to being filthy  ;D

I was looking at those Rab gaiters a few weeks back in Go, apart from just looking nice i liked the strap concealment on them. Although ive cut mine very short on the inner i do catch them now and again so thats a good design that can help stop trips.

cheapest ive found http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rab-Latok-Alpine-Gaiters-/201258298328?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Sports_Clothing_LE&var=&hash=item2edbedebd8#ht_306wt_1161

With price match and 10% off at Go thats £22.49 making them a good price as well, i might just order some myself  O0

I might be wrong. But I don't think go outdoors will price match against auction sites.
