Well I was captivated by the program - hope that I am in a position to do something remarkable like that when I am 80.

It was like watching paint dry to me. The high point was the balloon passing over my place of work.

Only watched the balloon one so far. I can see what people mean about watching paint dry, but the scenery’s good. I sped it up by x4, slowing it down if anything particularly took my interest, and that worked quite well!

For those who found the balloon ride programme dull as ditchwater..... DON'T WATCH THE CANAL BOAT RIDE!   :D

The sheep programme last night was dire, reminded me of the Sam Taylor Wood film of David Beckham asleep.

The trick is to count the sheep.  After that the programme passes relatively quickly.  :)

I enjoyed the sheep one too although I was slightly worried about the lambs being separated from their mothers. I was playing name the fell, beck or crag during the programme so perhaps that made it more interesting? I thought the drone footage was fab too. Can anyone name the farm that was shown at the end of the film? I know a couple of people on here will know what it is called. Beefy can you name it? We camped above it a year or so ago.

The farm where they sheared the sheep is called Taw House, April.

I found the distinctive sheep fold that the flock passed through, too.

I thought the sheep film was an absolute joy, apart from making me long to be back in the hills. I loved the herdycam (especially when it clattered into a wall and went dark).

I did think Karl would be the first with the answer  :) He loves this area too.

Here is a photo of the farm and Eskdale, we camped near Hard Knott in Sep 16. Crikey 3 and a half years ago! I though it was just a couple.

I too found the balloon film quite boring and I also used the fast forward feature until it looked like something interesting was going to happen. It basically followed the main road south...
The sheep roundup was much more interesting and The drone footage was excellent.
It's all uphill from here.

Lovely photo April - I do love Eskdale, and am looking forward to a wild camp in Upper Eskdale.

Interesting how opinion is so divided on this - I thought that the balloon flight was the better of the two, but I enjoyed some of the sheep round up too.

Me too - I've kept a small flock of sheep in the past - Shetlands, every bit as capricious as Herdwicks!

I tried to spot the camera on the Sheep's back on the drone footage, and when they crossed the bridge just before the farm.

But I failed - either due to careful editing of the footage, or due to inattention on my part!
