Last Sunday I took a walk up Moel yr Ogof ad Moel Hebog from Rhydd Ddu in some good autumn weather, I got a handful of photo's if you like that sort of thing  :)

Lovely photos, snowslider, looks like you picked a good day.  Very evocative, they brought back some good memories.

I seem to have missed this post the first time around. Its certainly a cracking but of hill country. Presumably, if I were to have a fortnight somewhere around Pothmadog/Bala next October (yes, I know, its a long way ahead...)   that these hills would be quite handy....?

Theyll have to be on my list of things to do in 2009.

They're closer to Beddgelert, actually.

Porthmadoc would be OK, though still a bit of a drive, but not Bala, that is a bit too far.

As you can probably tell, Howard, my knowledge of how North Wales fits together is a bit shaky.....   Looks like Porthmadoc (ish)..... or, maybe Harlech....
