Greetings

Hello all, my name is George and I'm new to the forum! I enjoy hiking and camping in and around the UK but hopefully sometime in the near future i will venture into the wilderness to see what our planet has to offer!

I like to travel (walking of course) around the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire countryside camping along the way, usually for periods of 1 to 3 nights. I have also camped in the peak and lake district, Devon and cornwall, yorkshire and Scotland.

I have never really participated in such forums or communities, mainly because i do everything lonesome so I'm sure i will have plenty of questions to bombard you fine folk with  :)

Greetings Stag,

I joined this forum a few weeks ago, and it's been great for me!  I am going on my first "proper" walk tomorrow, and without all the help from this forum I would not be half as organised and prepared as I am now.
