Yes, it certainly is a beautiful spot, especially on a day like today with the temperature in the mid 70's (sorry, I'm too old to be thinking in terms of Centigrade!).
People often go wild swimming there, but even on a hot day the water feels freezing as it has come straight down off the moor.

Nice photo, reminds me of a walk near the bottom of Lock Lomond I did some years ago.
Desperately trying to escape and venture in the wild outdoors...
