Thanks Peter. Plan was to be walking by eight. However as one of our party still hasn't arrived, the early start tomorrow is going to be tough. I should already be in bed zzzzzing!

Today's weather report from the three peaks area. Dry-wet-dry-wet. I may also add muddy.

We got fab views from Whernside - great to,see the panorama of the walk.

On Ingleborough we experienced mist, horizontal rain that hurt a lot! And quite a wind. I had a panicky moment when my companions disappeared in the mist and I could not open my eyes due to the stinging rain. But all turned out well.

Back home now, tired (understatement), starting to warm up, left leg seized up, did it sub 12 hours, and never again!!

Thanks for your wishes this week.

I drove through Horton yesterday evening, a lot of very tired, bedraggled people looking stiffer than when they set off.
The weather was pretty normal.  8)
"Never again"? I do hope not.
You owe us a trip report Sarah! Or a few photos at least!  :)

'Never again' - probably same as childbirth - the pain is eventually forgotten! TBH the weather was better than we had feared and we enjoyed the whole of the Whernside ascent and descent in particular. And I've learned a lot from doing it too.

I wonder if you saw us in Horton, Peter?! Altho we were quite late at 8pm and most of the hordes had gone.

I promise to try and do a trip report - possibly not till next weekend.
