Pics from yesterdays trip to Calderdale, West Yorkshire to Hardcastle Craggs area for Autumn colours, the one before the silly sign was a shot of Gibson mill NT centre, theres a cafe, but the place was swarming with kids (GRRR) cos its half term, dont know why the little [censored] cant stay home and play xbox or summat.
The last pic shows a cave pumpkinhead made. ;D

You had a lucky escape. I am not so lucky ;)

Lovely walk and pics, a good time of year to do that one with autumn colours and the river flowing quite well O0
-
Lovely pics pleb. Glad you had a good day out.
I really like the first pic looking along the river O0

Looks a beautiful walk pleb :)
-
great pics, Pleb.
I think this is one of the best autumn walks around, certainly in Yorkshire. The beech trees in the woods around here make for a very fiery walk!
I first walked around here in Late October, like you, but back in 2011. Have been intending to return every year since but haven't made it back yet. Here's hoping for this year!

A beautiful place. First went there as a kid with my mates on the number 49 bus bak in the sixties.
