Walking For Life Photographs
« on: 00:08:46, 27/11/07 »
Hi i thought it would be about time to share some of the photographs, that hopefully will be included in the write-up of the walk... I know it is taking a long time to finnish but to be fair, it was a long walk  ;D

Anyway i thought it would be right to show some of them here first, hope nobody minds.

Might just be my work's computer (it's running slow today), but I can't see these pics.  Just a series of red crosses.

However, I have seen some of the pictures on your site and they were ace. I especially like the ones of people shaking your hands in the street.  :)

That said, I'm home now and the post is inundated with pictures!

So go on then, what's the red and white flag all about?

Cheers Tracy it was, also a long one... ;D

Ah... the flag...the idea behind the flag, was that because the walk was being covered ny the BBC and Sky Sports, that if people seen me they could sign the flag and then if they wanted too the could then later make a donation at their bank...

Yep seems not a bad idea... until you are at over 2500 feet with a 4 foot flag, 3 foot above your head !!! Yeah i have had better idea's. Also one day i could only cover around 10 miles, over flat ground because i stopped over 110 times, to have the flag signed. Don't get me wrong, i know that the whole idea was to raise money and awareness but i would still be walking now, so i had to carry the flag in the side of my backpack and when i was coming into or out off main places i would raise the flag back above my head. One last point on the flag... yes it is Liverpools European Flag, i am from Liverpool and the two boys were also, and not as some people thought the Crotia Flag..(what a walk that would have been).  O0
