Hey folks,

I love this time of year for walking, especially before the clocks go back

Does anyone know roughly when the autumn colours start coming out at Hardcastle Crags? Went there in late October a few years back and the tree cover, particularly the beeches, made for a spectacular walk.

I hear that Padley Gorge, in Derbyshire, is just as good

thanks in advance

Here in Yorkshire the leaves are just starting to turn. By the end of October and early November you get the best autumn colours.

thanks Dread, thought that was the case, but difficult to tell as there's very limited tree cover where I am in East Yorkshire, sadly
