Nice walk this morning, though fairly challenging due to usual Dartmoor weather.
Up Cosdon from the N, then on to Little Hound Tor, Hound Tor, finally Wild Tor for sausage sandwiches. Going was exceptionally wet underfoot, at times feeling like stream-hiking, if there's such a thing as walking up the bed of a brook for fun.
Back via the stone rows on E side of Cosdon - what an amazing sight.
Nobody else seen walking but I noticed two horse-riders (separate) in the distance from Wild Tor - quite impressive how those fellows get along on bad ground. One seemed to manage to come up Walla Brook onto the ridge line well S of my lunch stop in about 20 minutes - that's about 5mph and up hill all the way: I don't even know if there are any tracks down there.
