South Lakes -- Gummers How
We were only meant to be having a drive out yesterday but as we approached Newby Bridge we had to put the foglights on because the mist was so thick. THinking that there may be a cloud inversion about I turned right and we were soon parked up in the Gummers How car park. There was indeed an inversion but it was dissipating fast as we headed to the summit. We were soon on the summit and left only with very, very hazy views. On descending we stopped off at Fell Foot Park owned by the National Trust to get a few reflections on a glass-like Windermere. Pictures are now available.
Regards,
Dave
