A couple of Mam Tor pics from Yesterday: I'm not a particular of vintage cars, but this Morris seemed to fit the scene very nicely. It would have been better if it were pointing the other way mind... 8)

Hi everyone, I was just setting off at 8am for a walk from Hartsop in the Lakes last week and shot this on the way, standing at Brothers Water looking south.

Walking is the world’s oldest exercise and today’s modern medicine.

Figured this was worth a share. This is Parker Lake in the Eastern Sierras from our recent trip to California. A wonderful hike up to the lake at 8,309ft elevation. We saw three other people on the way (and two dogs!) and then we had the entire lake to ourselves (apart from the VERY friendly ducks!) for the couple of hours we were there. Absolutely magical.

Cheers Strider. Even more of a wow factor on the approach. The lake is pretty much entirely hidden until you break through the trees and you're greeted with this view.

Honestly couldn't go wrong mate, it just WAS that pretty! Even though my phone photo doesn't really do it justice. In the far corner of the valley there's a frozen waterfall too, but you can't really see it in the image. Hands down the most beautiful spot I've been to.

Cheers fella. Have a good day.
