Causey Pike
« on: 09:20:08, 03/05/18 »
Morning all,

Just finished a write-up of a little walk we did over Causey Pike and Scar Crags last weekend. It wasn't our original plan but it was a bit murky behind Skiddaw and Blencathra when we got there so we decided to save those fells for another day and follow the blue skies.

Almost there...

Scar Crags with Sail and Crag Hill behind - for scale, there's a couple of walkers towards the bottom left, heading up Scar Crags ridge.

As always, there are more pictures and a full trip report on the blog:

Nice TR and pictures adalard.  I know what you mean about the path up to Sail - it reminded me of cycling in the alps - head down and count down the hairpins!

I remember that chimney going up Causey Pike. I had a bit of trouble toob when I thought it looked like the easier route. I need longer legs too  :)

Thanks for all the comments, everyone - very much appreciated.  O0

Only managed to get to the Lake District once last year and hoping this outing was the first of many in 2018 - got some catching up to do!  :)
