Hi all
I am hopong someone can give me a bit of advice/recommendation please
I brought a pair of Salomon Quest 4D 2 GTX In the new year to train for a hill walking event carrying a weighted bergen. The trainings been going very well but the last month I have been having the side and tops of my little toes rubbing and becoming irritatingly sore.
I am generally fine for a few miles but I am guessing as my feet get hotter they swell up.
From recommendation from my local Cotswold I also have a pair of the green superfeet insoles which have made some difference as I was concerned the weight carried would be causing my feet to flatten and toes to push out, again its helped a little bit but after a 20km hike today the little toes are really sore.
Also sock wise I am using the bridgedale trekkers.
My question is has anyone else had a similar problem with Salomons? I have had a lot of trainers in the past and have always got on with them provided I went up a size.
The boot are a snug fit but I am concerned if I go up a size they will become too loose, its only on the sides and top of my little toes I have the problem.
Advice greatly appreciated
