Title: Garmin GPSMap 64s - is there a way of?
Post by: ianj37 on 19:46:48, 07/03/18
Just got a GPSMAP 64s and it looks a good bit of kit but .... What I'm trying to do is to have 2 or 4 data fields displayed on the map page but, should the need arise, be able to quickly remove these from the screen and see more map. This can obviously be done by changing the map setup but that seems a lot of key presses to do something fairly simple. I thought that profiles might help by allowing the map page data fields to be 0 in one profile and 4 in the other and then adding the profile change option as a page so it can be quickly accessed but it would appear that changing the map setup changes it for all profiles. Am I doing something wrong or is this just one of those things that can't be done?
Thanks
Ian

I have just two data fields on my map page and then other pages with the other data fields I want which works for me as I can then switch through the pages with one button press.  I've not tried to create two map pages, so not sure if it can be done.  I'll have a look later  :)

Edit:  No, it can't be done.

Thanks for your help Sussamb. It's a shame it can't be done but I'm sure I can live with it as it is.
