You must be in Bellingham today or tomorrow? Give them our best wishes at Lyndale. They'll remember us from last July if you mention Sue and Keith and the mislaid boots! They went above and beyond the call of duty making many phone calls to track Keith's boots down while we headed off to Byrness in the "wrong" boots.  As did Colin at Forest view, cleaning both pairs of boots!

Enjoy your last few days, we're nearly ready for the off. A few days ago it looked like the weather was going to be around 16 deg, light winds and sunny. There now seems to be a few rain symbols around!

I'll mention it to Ken later!

Enjoying reading your posts while on your PW, good luck & hope you enjoy the last 'few' miles.

I was in Bellingham a few weeks ago and thought it seemed a really nice village (small town ?) and one I hope to return to.

After a lovely stop with Colin and Joyce at Byrness on Wednesday and overnighting at the hen hole hut I'm now drinking tea in the Border Hotel.  Lovely day on the Cheviots yesterday although a bit wet this morning.

Very very dry up there though in complete contrast to when I did it last time when many of the slabbed paths were inches deep in water.

Congratulations - it's a great walk and the weather can make it or break it.  I've done it in varied conditions, but when it's wet, it is very wet!
Enjoyed your updates as I could picture each and every one making me envious.  However, my trip is due to start on 20th..........I'm sure you'll soon be planning your next one..
Are you staying in Kirk Yetholm overnight or travelling back today?

Well done sussamb.  I'm looking forward to doing a small part of it whilst I am in the Dales next week.  I'm not sure I could do the whole thing though!

Well done, Jon. Looks like April & Beefy may have beat a path through Northumberland especially for you last weekend

Hope you raised much more than your target.
