Thanks for that guys.
The xmas period has been excellent for walking and for taking photos, its usually gale force winds and driving rain on the tops, infact when did it last rain :)

Hi Mark
Brilliant  photo's.  I was up on Kinder Scout the same day and saw  that cloud inversion when I got to Kinder Downfall.  It was pretty amazing!  There was also a seperate cloud inversion over the woodlands valley as well.  I got to see this from Fairbrook Naze.  There are some photo's  of it in my blog. http://peak-district-walks.blogspot.com/2008/12/fairbrook-naze-kinder-scout-from-snake.html (http://peak-district-walks.blogspot.com/2008/12/fairbrook-naze-kinder-scout-from-snake.html)

Hi Justin

The photos above I took was from around the Kinder Downfall Area. I crossed the Plateau to Fairbrook Naze like yourself seen the other cloud inversion over the woodlands valley.
