They certainly have a fair number of SealSkin gloves, some waterproof others just warm layered affairs.
SealSkin is certainly not a product that Sports Direct stock, as i cannot remember ever seeing high quality walking gear in any of their stores.
Their Bangor branch, is one of their major superstores, and they currently have a huge range of clothing, mostly spors related but a lot of it walking related gear as well.
There was far too much stock to sift through quickly, you had to visibly check each item, and look for your particular size.
Not many mediums or large, but mostly XL and some XXL, big enough for two of me.
They even have a glut of Skins compression clothing, another product range i do not remember seeing there.
All i can think of, is that Sports Direct have acquired a large amount of stock, either from other stores, or from another retailer.
Most of the gear is being sold off in considerable bulk, there must be at least a hundred or more of these Graghopper waterproofs, and non waterproof jackets, none costing more than £60.
By what i could see, the GoreTex jackets were in silly sizes such as XXL or even larger, so the stock must have been difficult for someone to move.
Most of the gloves were cheap Karrimor or similar brand, but there were a significant amount of SealSkin items, well below retail price.
They came from somewhere, and i suppose a company as large as Sports Direct have the financial power to buy up large amounts of stock they know they can sell quickly if its discounted heavily enough.
