TGO Challange cancelled
« on: 19:36:35, 18/03/20 »
I see that the TGO challenge for this year is cancelled.
Sadly it looks as though that it is the only sensible decision they could make.
We will all need to consider any multi day trips that we may have been planning.

Couple of mail messages from The Ramblers to day.  All group walks cancelled until further notice. :(

Sensible and inevitable.

Solo self supporting wild camping wild camping still an option for those with cars, though.

But suggesting you can walk with friends if you keep a safe distance - which is what seems to be happening in Devon - I guess Ramblers are being cautious and covering themselves
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left

The concept of safe distance while walking is interesting.  If you want to know how far away you need to be to avoid breathing someone else’s exhalations, imagine walking with a smoker.  Side by side into wind you can get quite close but one behind the other, for example following a path?
