Well done guys, I remember you lot going past me as I plodded along.

I can recommend the Baslow Bootbash, White Peak Walk, and the Dovedale Dipper. All fantastic events, but the first two are probably full by now.

Remember to take some food with you, as they only serve basic snacks on the way round, but supply a meal at the end.

If you are looking for a challenge, the I can recommend The Longmynd Hike at 50miles, which is a toughie, or the Wistanstow Walk at 26miles which is more akin to the Three Shires Event.

Whatever you choose, good luck.

Thanks MB, talking of doing the Baslow Bootbash later in the year, The Dovedale Dipper we completed last year. The White Peak walk personally never heard off...

Love the sound of the Long Mynd one but think 50 miles might be a little to much to walk in the day  :D

Love the area around the Long Mynd, after this 29 mile walk on the Saturday was out in Shropshire around the Long Mynd area on the Sunday for another 20 miles  O0

We should arrange a meet around this area mate. Cardingmill Valley and Long Mynd and Caradoc around Church Stretton. An absolutely lovely walking area!  O0

I thought you said you was going to arrange a Shropshire weekend for later in the year  O0

I have thought of a cracking route in this area, might nip over one weekend to have a go at it, not sure on the distance but would involve a complete circuit around Church Stretton, so basic route would be Church Stretton - Ragleth Hill -Minton Hill - The Long Mynd - Pole Bank -All Stretton - The Lawley - Caer Caradoc - Hope Bowdler Hill and finally back to Church Stretton.

Rough guess would be around 25 miles with a hell of a lot of up's and downs but would make for one great day  O0
