My 1st trip report.. Kinder Scout

Erm.....

Date - 14 August 2010
Total distance - 13 miles (ish)
Total ascent - no idea....
Time taken - 6 hours
Weather.. low cloud in Edale, raining over Kinder, clear by Kinder Downfall, sunshine on Roman Road

Working out the best way through the mud

Whoops - should have given more information:

Started at Edale train station, walked up via Grindsbrook Clough, over to Crowden Towers, then over the plateau, to Kinder Gates, kinder Downfall and then across to Mill Hill... From there down to Snake Pass and over the Pennine Way to pick up the Roman Road / Doctors Gate path into Glossop..

Then home on the train.. x

Great trip report and photos.  Thanks for sharing - looks a good day out.
 
That first piccie of the mud reminds me of some youtube videos I was watching the day before yesterday, where people were being caught out/being helped out.
