Title: Sgurr Thuilm and Sgurr nan Corieachan
Post by: angry climber on 03:37:59, 29/06/11
I am trying to arrange this trip in the next few weeks but came across a warning on Munro Magic. Please note that from April 2011 until October 2011 a construction project in Glen Finnan may affect walking access on this route. Parking is not expect to be affected but construction traffic on the roads through the Glen and rock blasting will occur. Has anyone been in the Glen finnan area in the last few weeks or has any information about the blasting. I don't want to set off and drive so far to find out I am on a day they are blasting.

Thanks in advance

we went up to do these two at the beginning of June. Work is taking place constructing a road beyond the bothy in preparation for a hydro power scheme. We were held up by 5-10 mins whilst the jcb flattened the road. However there was no indication that there were to be any restrictions. There are signs up indicating a bypass path along part of the track/road.
