Have searched the forum prior to posting, but came up short
I've finally bitten the bullet and bought a Vapour Rise Alpine (same as the old Lite) and am wondering what people's experience's are with regard to using a base layer beneath?
The challenge is that I sweat like John Prescott and therefore need something that won't retain the moisture any more than is inevitable. I have a few icebreaker (150/220 weight) bases which can sometimes struggle to dispose of the sweat on more strenuous walks.
I was thinking of trying out one of those wife-beater mesh vests from Brynje but would love to know peoples experiences with layering beneath a VR Alpine / Lite ?
