Title: Help: Walking tour of scotland
Post by: danmorrisbfc on 14:13:58, 05/02/17
Hi All,

Ive booked a walking tour of Scotland - 5 locations in total.  However, Ive booked the locations before researching walks and Im getting a bit stuck on a couple of locations.  Hoping people can help out.  I'll put all my locations in as Im open to changing some ideas I already have.

Im looking forward easy to mid style walks.  Have a terrier dog who can manage a good 5-6 miles / 3 hours in one stint.

Locations:

Inveruglas Loch Lomond
Oban
Beauly (Im pretty covered for this one)
Stonehaven
North Bewick

Ive looked at the local gumph etc..... but nothing better than getting ideas from people that have actually done the walks.

Any help is much appreciated!!!!

Thanks
Dan

Hello DanMorris  -  Welcome to the site!  For Inveruglas..........take the ferry from there across the loch to Inversnaid. Walk south on the west highland way to Rowardenan. Have tea/coffee in hostel there and catch return ferry to start point. You can book the ferries. Around 8 miles..............hope this helps.
