Woofs on Walkies
« on: 22:31:10, 10/07/13 »
I thought there would be a thread for pics of man's (and woman's) best friend in various scenic locations, but as I can't find one decided to start my own.  Please add your photos to it.

Zak and Yogi

Zak overlooking Loch Tay

At home

Moss & Flame overlooking Loch Hourn

Myself with Moss and Flame about to set off to the Falls of Glomach in Kintail

Flame at Camban Bothy

Flame and Moss with the Five Sisters of Kintail as the backdrop

Moss overlooking Loch Shiel

Flame at Loughrigg Terrace

Flame in Littledale

Flame in Glen Affric

Flame & Moss at Arnside Knott

Flame at Penyghent

And heading up Moel Famau

Hmmm - think this was in a tarn on the Kentmere Horseshoe walk (but can't quite remember  :-[ )

Rip at the Mountaineering Hut, Kintail

Oops I got a bit carried away  :-[ :-[ :-[

Please feel free to add your photos of all your gorgeous pooches in various scenic locations  O0

Fantastic photos capturing the joy of walking with dogs.  This thread is crying out to be a 'sticky' already!  There are many forum members that will relish this.

That's another great shot, The Wanderer.  I'm afraid I can't tell if Benji is a Whippet or Greyhound from that shot?  (though I'm fond of both!)

Aww great pic Joester - where were you, and what is the name of your lovely pooch?

That's Archie, I wish he were mine, but he's my 'hairy brother' (preferable in many ways to my actual brother).  We have quite a bond.
The former shot is on Stanage Edge in the Peak District.  Here's a frontal taken on Lose Hill (Peaks):

(P.s. I think you'll find Alewife is a dog fan too, as well as having a GSOH!)

What a lovely spaniel  :)   Is Ellie a springer, a cocker or even perhaps a sprocker?  Great pic!

Thanks
Moobli, it was taken beside Tees barrage near Stockton on Tees, I have lots of photos of him on the N.Y moors I will have to dig them out.
Joester, nice pic of Archie, it was a cross between a greyhound and a lurcher (Or so I was told) he was certainly one of a kind, :) now sadly no longer with us.
I do miss him he used to love walking around North Yorkshire with us
great pic of Ellie IIswoz
