Didn't you see any of the goats, perhaps there were too many people around.  A good reminder of my walk through there when fitting in the bits between the National Trails to complete my Lejog walk.  The continuation of the West Mendip Way from the eastern end of your walk is also well worthwhile if anyone has the time.

Forgot yeah we did see the goats!!.... lovely area, need a return trip to see more of the mendips!

Nice photos of what looks like a dramatic walk through limestone country. I was last in Cheddar Gorge 51 years ago!
