Looks a nice walk, though a bit muddy at times.

The the the the the thats all the photos folks. From a splendid area in North Yorkshire complete with Victorian follies.
P.S.   Got back into Masham bang on ten to five, the ice cream parlour that I went to before, supposed to shut at five, was well and truly closed!  :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: No jaffa cake ice cream for me then!
P.P.S.  DRove out along the B road to Grewelthorpe to find a carpark I had seen signed, thought one of the follies I had zoomed in on (in a photo) but not had the energy to climb to, may be just off the official carpark.....there were two cars there, one had a middle aged couple on the verge of leaving, they clearly thought at turned 5 pm I was up to no good! Esp. as I looked over carpark walls to see if could see the top of the folly nearby......no. Drove out of tiny carpark, caught sight of a display board as was doing so, so pulled up just off road, popped back into carpark to look at it, just as they were driving out, they didnt like that! Anyway noticeboard didnt help, follies were shown on it but still couldnt tell how far away was the one I wanted to have a look at, so gave up. Drove to Grewelthorpe and turned round back to masham, presumably just before the police arrived!  ;D  Goodness knows what they thought I wanted to do in the quiet car park....

Ah memories of spending a few hours wandering around Hackfall Woods, interesting, tranquil place. Pass by on the way to Himalayan Gardens, a beautiful springtime garden.
