great pics and TR AJ. I never knew you could view picasa pics as a slideshow and with the captions as well! It's the way forward!!!!  O0
"i sometimes enjoy it all the more when you suddenly get a view after hours of nowt" - I totally agree - I think there is something really magical about the cloud silently blowing away and revealing what feels like a secret....then when it covers it up again and later parts - it feels like a whole new view all over again!! :D
Looks like you had a great day out ....oh and did you take all those pics on your phone camera??

Looks great Dave, might have to visit myself  O0
VERY highly recommended. If you up for 2 days do the High Stile Ridge on day 2 taking in AWs fave fell Haystacks and passing near Innominate Tarn where his ashes are scattered near to but not on... Day 3, knee surgery and industrial strength Ibuprofen  ;D

Susie jsut got your PM but ive busted out of me 6 message limit :( I stayed at Buttermere YH. Great brekkie. Local pub the Fish does nice dinners and great beer. The fells are to die for!  I can send you gps of the walk I did if you want, it will open up in walkhighlands/wehresthepath/bikehike

I did and I did! Its only a LG cookie but the quality is pretty damn goo d innit. Or maybe im just a natural  O0

Yeah Picasa is brilliant. I used to dread writing TRs cos it would take SOOOOO LONG to paste the things in for each photo from tinypic or photobucket plus i forgot me passswords and opened new accounts and lost those too....

Glad you liked it! I would love to do in sun , as I say...

Great stuff, shame about the clag. As John (Brandywell) says, the ridge route betweeen Hopegill Head and Whiteside is superb and well worth a return visit in better weather. O0

Cheers for that! You cant write as much cr+p as on usual Tr but maybe thats not a bad thing where im concerned  ;D

Plus it sorts them into date order so they come up in the order you did the walk. It took me only 2 hours to do this one instead of the usual 6-8 messing about on photobucket or tinypic. Im wondering if they compress the pics less too? I cant believe my little LG Cookie took such high quality (relatively) snaps...
