Great to see the report. We're staying in a cottage at the bottom of the Old Man (just above the lake) in September so good to get an idea of what it's like around there as our only ever trip to the Lakes was a day-trip to Windermere.

Looks like a great day out and lots of fun.  That face-down on the pole somehow reminds me of 1960's Batman climbing down the Empire State Building.

Great minds think alike  ;)

It looks like it was a good day out.

Oh how this report has cheered me up today !!  Thanks Max and Dave - abosulte class !!

I wanted to congratulate Dave on the facedown - not quite up to Joester standards but top marks for effort.  Also makes me laugh as it looks like everyone else is tryin to ignore you Dave ...  pretnd he's not there !! ;D ;D

and then this picture had me chuckling quietly to myself.....  Max - the particular gesture you appear to be waving is perhaps not the most encouraging.....  ;D ;D

Thoroughly entertaining - looks like you had a great day out - thanks for sharing.
Matt ;)
