Hello Ridge I am Midlands based and tend to walk locally or the Peak District. Am looking to do a Long Coastal Walk at some point when the weather improves (April > May time).
How are you?

Hi Tony and welcome from the Peak District
Coastal walking is my favourite... and once I'm fully recovered from my recent hernia op, I'll be booking a trip to the coast somewhere and go 'home' to the sea!

Welcome from North Warwickshire
You're midlands too? I'm right at the top of Warwickshire in the National Forest where I spend most of my local walking time but still not that far from the peak district.
I'd be interested to know whether you have good routes in the midlands south of the Peak District that might be closer to my home

Coastal walk? - hard to beat the cornish coast path - I did the whole in my teens and am doing it sporadically section by section as I find time to visit now
