Shame Brasher doesn't do the same guarantee it used to.
The pair I got in 1995 lasted for 15 years. They were a deliberately lightweight design that wasn't expected to be that hardy, but Brasher took them back free of charge on a number of occasions to resole them, redo eyelets, etc.
