Taken by my son as we set off back down the summit ridge of Mt Ruapehu.

I was treated to a bit of an aerial display over the Lincolnshire Wolds on my little walk today.

(apologies yet again for the Shacklesborough Sheep Poo which is STILL on my camera lens - I have tried to get rid of it, honestly!)

And also sorry that it's not a stunning snowy mountain view either.

Lovely shots BuzyG and Mel  O0

@ BuzyG, I hope you were no where near that volcano when it erupted yesterday.

I was out walking in the Pendle area yesterday, it was very cold and gloomy, with freezing fog at low level all day. It was extremely wet underfoot, unpleasantly so TBH. I took a few pics in the fog,but none were very good, but I managed to get this one a little higher up toward Beacon Hill where the fog had thinned a little..

Lovely composition  O0. Marginal conditions like those often bring opportunities for attractive light.

The black headed gull looks as if it's saying to the mallard - ' yes, lovely, now put it away I've seen it all before.'
