Did Top Withens/Haworth Moor at the weekend (thanks to guess who for the recommendation) and it's going to be Pendle Hill this weekend.

Last day of my weekend off, and today I went to Stipperstones in the Shropshire Hills. It was an easy walk up from Snailbeach, visiblity wasn't too good because of the haze. I did see quite a nice sunnset though.

I have the day off tomorrow, the forecast looks good - best in the east. I'm going for a walk in the Peak District, the Mam Tor ridge above Castleton - not done that one for years.

That's the walk we did on Sunday. Our first time walking in that area, weather was fantastic, we had a great day.

Have a good time on Haystacks and wild camping Lba1109  O0  I'm off to the Lakes tomorrow again and hoping (again) that the cloud is not too low to do Raise - Helvellyn. This will be the third attempt in 4 weeks! Sunday I'm off to Bardon Mill (Northumberland) and walking around Allen Banks. Let's hope for some good weather eh?  :)

Topely Pike on Sunday.

It will be my first "proper" walk after cutting my teeth on local tracks for the first three months of my new hobby.  ;D

We just spent 5 days walking in Cheshire - we need the weekend to warm up! I must say perhaps not a 'traditional' walking venue but I loved it. Good mixture of hills and dales, good gates and stiles, great pubs, easy driving, etc. Would recommend it.

I am off to Carsington Water, Derbyshire. Never been there before, looking forward to it. I need to get out, boots on. Work is hell at the moment. A chance to let off some steam...  :)
