Thankfully no snow has fallen here in Dyffryn, which is mighty strange, as the West coast of the Uk, usually gets the most adverse weather.
Still, i had to turn back from my walk this morning, as it was simply too cold.
I had intended to visit the summit of Yr Llethr, as its only three miles distant, as the crow flies from my front door, but the cold and windchill was so severe, that even wearing my best winter gear, it was so painful that i had to turn back.
In such cold weather, there's alway's that doubt, that if you turn your ankle or become incapacitated, you simply could not survive that long in such harsh conditions.
It was well below freezing, and the whole ground is set like concrete.
Its very rare for the weather to be so cold here on the Welsh coast, that even wearing the right clothing, you simply could not keep warm. HORRID CONDITIONS
