We were parked up and walking for 9am our route taking us up through Walthwaite Bottom and up onto Huntingstile Crag. We then followed the ridge over Dow Bank & Spedding Crag to the big cairn. Our route then was over Megs Gill which we followed up to its source. We then picked up the major path from Lang How to Silver How to arrive on the summit around 10:30am. After a brief stop we took the path down the scree gully and then took the path back up towards Spedding Crag. I had intended to return down to Chapel Stile but we met an American guy who needed directions so we returned along the ridge to Huntingstile Crag where we left him to make our way back down to Elterwater.
