Swindale and Selside Pike
« on: 16:50:54, 01/11/11 »
Friday 28th Oct.
A walk into the quiet and remote Swindale valley and then up and on to the top of Selside Pike. A nice sort of half day route.

Swindale and Hobgrumble Gill.
The full set of photos are now on the website for those who are interested.

Fantastic pictures as always Andy.  Have been trying to work out your route as I think it looks a lovely walk.  Do you post it anywhere?

Thanks for the comment. No, I dont usually post my routes anywhere as they are normally a bit "off-piste". This one was quite straightforward, up the valley and follow the path to the top of Mosedale falls then head east- follow the fenceline to the top of Selside Pike, then down the north ridge to pick up the Corpse road.
