Looking for a walking tour guide
« on: 11:59:14, 14/08/08 »
Hi - we are in the Lake district next week and have two days booked out on Windermere but we are looking for a reputable walking tour guide to guide us on a not too strenous walk as we are totally inexperienced. Any suggestions or reccomendations would be appreciated. Cheers.

Hi,
I would have thought that your best bet would be to enquire at a Tourist Information centre or a good outdoor shop when you are there. I'm impressed that you are taking "guidance" due to your inexperience but I hope it leads to some great days out on the hills for you.

Thanks Andy , we'll try that.  We have also printed a few of the easier walks from various web-sites so it should be fun.
Best wishes
