An excellent pack, just what I was looking for but for one unexpected problem:- those large and very useful hipbelt pockets reduce the length of strap available for tightening the belt. Unfortunately I have a small waist, about 31 inches, and I can't get the hipbelt tight enough. The belt has a couple of elasticated loops whose only purpose is to corral the straps: I slipped those off which gave me another couple of inches, but it still wasn't really tight enough - pretty close but not quite. I used the pack on one trip thinking it might be ok, but it wasn't - now I can't return it.
If your waist is at least 33 inches it will be fine, maybe 34 if you like your belt really tight.
