Hi are you thinking of doing some of the SUW? Nice part if you are, also Moffett is a nice place to vist, there is also a camping site there.

But if you want a hostel then i think Lotus Lodge in Wanlockhead, could be open. Their number is 01659-74544

B&Bs

The Garage Wanlockhead, 0870-2142632
Berries Cottage, 0870-2142638
Rose Lea Cottage, 0870-2142637

I think where you are going has the record for the highest village in Scotland also, plus for a very scenic drive you could vist the old spar.

There are some pics of the area on this website walkingforlife.piczo.com

Hope i have been of some help and have a great time ;D ;D

Summitzero,

Is there any place you've not been?

Any cafe / hostel / B&B you've not visited?  ;)

Man, I see the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy [censored] we don't need.
