I once did a lovely walk from Earl Sterndale to Hartington, climbing High Wheeldon en route.  The 442 Buxton-Ashbourne bus is very useful for walks in the Dove Valley but I guess it would be a long journey to connect with it from Doncaster.

Very enjoyable TR, Lee, and some great pictures - it really is lovely walking country around Longnor, isn't it? I think High Wheeldon has superb views, some of the best in the Peak District.  O0

It's a pity that the visibility from the summit wasn't a bit better.
