VR - wild camping on Brock Crags
« on: 19:05:07, 19/04/17 »

Hi guys beefy here...  8)
this is our second wild camp of the year...
i took my "giant wasp" with us to try, but it was too windy to get a lot of footage,
we saw a group of well known wild campers at Angle Tarn,
if we had known it was them, we would have walked down to say hello...
Our route was Patterdale - Rooking - Crookabeck - Hartsop - Pump House - Brock Crags - Angle Tarn - pitch on Brock Crags. 9.15km with 635m ascent. 4 hours 15 walking time

Great video beefy  O0 I have renamed the Giant Wasp, it is now Will-o'-the-wasp. Geddit?
Very nicely edited  :) How many times did you redo it?  ;D

Camping near the tarn were you tubers Garn fora ratch, Andy Wardle (from my neck of the woods), Scots wildcamper to name a few. If only we had known it was them we would have gate crashed  ;) I've watched a few of the vids they have posted and I've not spotted our Drift so I think we must have been unseen from the tarn.

The jets streaking across the sky at sunset were a nice touch .....

Keep up the good work.
Only a hill but all of life to me, up there between the sunset and the sea.
