No, neither did I pleb. I've seen Buzzards and Sparrowhawks before round Brantingham before but never Red Kites.
Great shot adalard - definitely worthy of the Caption Competition

The place to get really good kite shots is at a cafe in Harewood village they feed the Kites so they come in really close.

Yes, I've seen them at Harewood MWM. I think I was just so surprised to see one local(ish) to me (and even more surprised my pic turned out as non-blurry as it did
) ... It made my walk

A surprise guest visited for brekkie yesterday morning! Photographed from my bedroom window, hence not the best shots...

Beautiful sparrowhawk. One caught and devoured a starling
on my lawn recently leaving only the beak as evidence.
Just love the 'advanced-balanced;banana' yoga pose followed by 'ta-da!' and omg moment seal pics.

Love those - I have a real soft spot for seals since my childhood - we used to sail dinghies off the Anglesey coast and they would play round the boat.

Great shots of the sparrowhawk, lovely looking bird, a tad gruesome mind
Love the seal shots
In the last shot, was it saying "Oh no, I've left the heating on"

Great pics. Haven't been to Bempton since going photographically digital - time for another visit.

Fantastic photos, Sunnydale.
How wonderful to see that sparrowhawk in the garden! And I love the photos of the gannets - I never realised they had that beautiful colouring on their head and neck.
