again, thank you all very much for the very nice comments  :)

But getting out midweek... it's just not on >:(

always get at least one day midweek Karl  :)

Great photos, I admire your use of foreground, superb balance.

I always try to get some foreground detail, I think even the best views can look a bit empty without something to lead the eye in

Thanks Rhino/Dave  :)
...I use a Fuji X100s - very traditional for a digital - full manual settings, solid aluminium body, pin-sharp fixed lens. Not cheap though  :(

Beautifully composed and taken photos.
By the way, what SD card are you using?, the clarity an detail are stunning.
Your obviously using a high quality set up, but out of interest, which SD card is your one of choice, because after all, the digital images are stored on the card, and the better the cards speed sensitivity etc, the better the images.
Your images are certainly clear and very well composed.

Ive recently bought a 64Gb version of the same card, for my new GoPro 4 silver.
The camera has one superb video capability in 4k, but i will also give the same Extreme card, a go in my Lumix GF1.

Ive never really been into video taking, but recently a friend showed me a video he had taken whilst walking up Skiddaw in the Lakes.

He had used a 64Gb Sandisk extreme card, and the video quality was mighty impressive for such a small camera.

Using the same card in a high end Digital SLR, with the knowledge of how to use it, returns beautiful results, as you have clearly shown us.

I spent a few moments looking through your portfolio, i am impressed with the way you have composed your photographs, and it was a real pleasure looking at them.

Many thanks

Well, you learn something new every day! Until now I didn't know the SD card you used made any difference.

Can do with frame rate in record if the card speed is slow it eill reduce the output to speed of the card but can't improve the quality of the camera.
