Just spotted your post Chris, nice blog as usual.
I might try this walk myself next time I'm down that way visiting my parents.
We used to go to the Green Man occasionally. My dad always said they had a good cellar and served beer at just the right temperature.
Obviously entirely different now- the grub their used to be good value, the restaurant prices are somewhat steeper!
